Breakfast is THE. BEST. You already know. And if you’ve been following along, you also know that waking up in the morning is quite the struggle for me. Even after waking up, I’m not really awake until…well….noon. Granted, I don’t have kids to wake me up super early in the morning, so I know my struggle is small in comparison to other struggles but NONETHELESS! The struggle is real. That’s where this Matcha Smoothie Bowl comes in!

SOOOOO good! Matcha Smoothie Bowl by Jar Of Lemons!

You can read more about my morning problems in the Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats post. I KNOW you all want to. Obviously, it takes some kind of kickstart for us non-morning people. Thank goodness for strong coffee (Nespresso <—— FAVE), morning workouts, and all that gooooooood stuff. And thank goodness for smoothies bowls that have a kickstart built in to them!

Perfect for when I need a kickstart in the morning. Matcha Smoothie Bowl by Jar Of Lemons!

This Matcha Smoothie Bowl is loaded with antioxidants, energy, vitamins, calcium, protein, and potassium! It only takes about 5 minutes to make, and it tastes like breakfast ice cream. That’s right, breakfast ICE CREAM! Um, yes please. You’d be crazy to turn down breakfast ice cream. Crazy, I say!

This Matcha Smoothie Bowl sounds amazing!

For this recipe, I used this matcha powder! It’s my favorite. I make matcha all of the time, and have gotten lots of questions on Instagram about how I make it. Honestly, no one should ask me that because I make it the laziest way ever! I simply take hot water, put 2 tsp of matcha powder in it, and then mix it really really fast with a fork. 😂 However, if you want to avoid getting clumps in your matcha, I definitely recommend purchasing one of these matcha whisks!

For this Matcha Smoothie Bowl recipe, no whisk is required! Simply blend it all together, top with some fruit and homemade granola, and you’re good to go!
