Overnight oats are the easiest breakfast ever! And so perfect for summer. Start the holiday weekend right with these delicious Triple Berry Overnight Oats!
So, I have to be honest here. I have an obsession with holidays, if you haven’t picked up on that yet. Every single holiday that comes around is my “favorite” for reasons X, Y, and Z. I thought about every possible Fourth of July meal or dessert that I could make, but all I really wanted was these overnight oats! So I knew I had to share them.
I mean, they’re totally patriotic, right???
Because realistically, this holiday is a day of celebration (and hopefully lots of sun and fireworks!). There will be cookout meals (helllloooo Red Pepper & Kale Beef Burgers) and tons of patriotic desserts (wassup Superfood Snow Cones and Patriotic Tartlets). For me, I’ll be starting the day off in a healthy way to make room for the unhealthy cheats later because I’m all healthy and stuffffff…..
Alright. Let’s just all agree that cheat meals will definitely happen on holidays and that’s ok.
But thankfully, healthy or not, these Triple Berry Overnight Oats are creamy breakfast perfection and I’m in love!
(And they’re in fact completely healthy.)
There are actually several overnight oat recipes here on Jar Of Lemons (Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats, Oatmeal Cookie Overnight Oats), but this one is more like the “original” recipe. From here, the flavors and toppings possibilities are endless! I probably should have made this recipe and posted it before any of the others. Just think of it like the Star Wars movies. You saw the end result first, now here’s the beginning. AHEM: Nerd Alert.
Things you will need for this recipe: Berries, these mason jars, and some rolled oats. I mean basically. I also love adding this organic maple syrup to mine!
Here’s the recipe:
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 packet stevia
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- Mix all ingredients (except for the berries) together the night before serving.
- Place in jars and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, add sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Serve and enjoy!
